Launched in 2014, the product is tried and tested by millions of users, with being the Best seller for Sony in two consecutive years. Taking my personal insight of the headphone (having thoroughly used for 6 months now), the Pros & Cons in brief are as mentioned:
PROS)
(i) Built-Quality– Having a high grade flexible fibre material, provides it a robust endurance and shelf life.
(ii) Acoustics Output– Provided with a 30mm Dynamic Drivers, the Crisp of sounds delivered is really amazing for this price range headphones.
(iii) Gold-Plated Jack– We don’t need to worry for casual pulls and distortion of sound outputs, which becomes a terrible experience in ordinary jacked headphones.
(iv) Compact Size– The headphone is just perfect in Ear cups dimensions and fitting, which provides longer sessions of usage without ear aches and sweating.
(v) Durability– Being roughly used for half an year, the product is as good in shape and performance as it arrived.
CONS)
(i) Wire Quality– The biggest let down of the product, you might say, is the wire type. It feels Frickle and too thin to be used roughly.
(ii) Adjustment Clips– The head adjustment clips are quite low grade, as it became loose in first 3 months of usage.
(iii) Bass– The bass output during songs are on the lower side of the spectrum. It might disappoint the Bass lovers, for modern music.
This is my assessment on the product, regarding my personal experience. If you are looking for a supplementary/secondary headphone, beside your beloved and premium ones, then Sony 310AP is definitely a good shot. Available at cost around one thousand Indian Rupees, it’s one of the best and durable headphones than its counterparts on this price.
